The vibrant Ageas Corporate Centre in Brussels is home to a variety of Group level functions including, amongst others, Risk, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Communications. It sets out the long term strategy for Ageas and coordinates numerous initiatives across the Group to help realise the strategic ambitions. The Corporate Centre also facilitates knowledge and skills sharing amongst its local operating entities and JV’s, creating strong connections and leveraging on local strengths. It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.
The HR department is responsible for managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and developing employees) and administering payroll and employee benefits.
To strengthen the team, they are looking for an HR & Mobility Officer.
Your function
As HR & Mobility Officer, you will report to the HR Manager and you collaborate closely with the other business units of Corporate Center.
o You coordinate the employee life cycle by following-up on the on-and off boarding process, ensure that mutations, promotions and organisational changes are correctly processed in the HR systems;
o In collaboration with your colleague HR Officer, you coordinate the monthly payroll & exceptional payroll activities (Bonus, Flexible Income plan, warrant plan, holiday pay, 13th month,…) ;
o You provide first level support for all payroll and employee benefits related questions;
o You manage the external workforce within the Ageas CC:
- You coordinate the overall external workforce process (gather all requests, collect all necessary documentation and ensure that accesses & IT material are ready).
- You ensure a timely and accurate reporting on the external workforce.
o You assist in keeping employees well-informed about people updates, HR news & events through posts on the internal communication channel
o You are the contact person for Mobility :
- You ensure operational follow-up for fleet (fuel cards, technical checks, fines, recalls, winter and summer tires, insurance, etc) and you liaise with external vendors;
- You report on fleet data and stay abreast on changes in legislation and taxation
- You investigate the switch to alternative forms of mobility (full electricity, public transport, car allowance, …).
o You assist in the organisation of Staff Events such as our Christmas drink, Family day, …
o In function of your interest, you assist in HR projects to further optimise our HR processes and systems.
Your profile
- Next to a Bachelor’s degree, you have a first experience of 3 to 5 years in hard HR. Experience with fleet management is a plus.
- You have an understanding of labour laws, rules, regulations and best practices
- You are highly approachable, service-minded, trustworthy and discrete.
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- You are a good team player, but you are also able to work independently.
- You are structured, hands-on, pragmatic and result oriented.
- You have attention to detail to ensure HR systems are kept updated
- You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French.
