The vibrant Ageas Corporate Centre in Brussels is home to a variety of Group level functions including, amongst others, Risk, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Communications. It sets out the long term strategy for Ageas and coordinates numerous initiatives across the Group to help realise the strategic ambitions. The Corporate Centre also facilitates knowledge and skills sharing amongst its local operating entities and JV’s, creating strong connections and leveraging on local strengths. It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media.
Your function
At People AIR (Analytics, Insights & Reporting), our mission is to empower employees, managers, and HR professionals in their role, by leveraging people data. We are committed to fostering a data-driven culture and increasing overall data maturity within our organization. Our goals are to foster the people data governance, enable insight-driven people decisions, and leverage AI to enhance the employee and HR experience.
As a People Insights Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our Group People AIR team. You will be responsible for
- developing high-quality reporting
- ensuring robust data governance, and
- transforming data analytics into actionable insights.
As the inhouse expert in the reporting development, you will be developing a high-quality, efficient and robust reporting process. This includes
- developing our annual report data requirements, and other group reporting & dashboards, in collaboration with our Data Office & BI teams,
- ensuring compliance with CSRD S1 disclosures,
- improving disclosures related to ESG rating agencies.
In order to ensure a robust data governance
- you will contribute to a high-quality data governance by preparing and providing operational follow-up for our regular People Analytics Committees,
- you will oversee the development of solid data tech infrastructures across the group, ensuring high security and privacy standards,
- you will continue the development and enrichment of our Global Data Glossary.
With a focus on analytics & insights
- You will transform data analytics into knowledge, experience, and valuable actions
- You will be driving the Data-Driven Culture Program, and
- You will be exploring and implementing (Gen)AI technology discoveries.
To achieve this, you will search for, and build strong internal and external partnerships, and take on an educational role as the first ambassador of the value of people insights. This involves enhancing the visibility of the People Insights stream as integral part of our new People Strategy.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with experience and strong confidence in at least one of the three domains: Reporting, Data Governance, and/or Analytics & Insights, as described. If you are seeking a new challenge to grow in all three domains within a complex international environment, this role is perfect for you.
- You should be both data and process-minded, with expertise in data visualization tools and techniques being highly valued.
- Your communication, collaboration and project management skills are excellent, along with a keen understanding of data privacy and security standards.
- You appreciate or actively seek out technologies that enhance the working experience of your stakeholders
- A strong affinity and valuable experience in the HR domain are essential
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and adapt to changing priorities and needs;
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical awareness, with respect for data privacy and confidentiality.
