IDNow is a digital identity verification platform used by businesses and institutions to confirm a user's identity remotely. It combines advanced facial recognition, live detection, and document verification technologies to ensure secure, compliant, and fast authentication.

  1. Redirect to IDNow
    After clicking on "Continue", you will be redirected to the secure interface of IDNow.
  2. Upload your ID
    You will need to provide a photo or PDF of your official ID (ID card, passport, etc.). IDNow can check more than 3,000 types of documents from 195 countries.
  3. Biometric check
    You will be asked to perform a facial recognition via your computer's webcam or smartphone camera. This step serves to confirm that you are indeed the person depicted on the document.
  4. Live Detection
    IDNow uses life detection technologies to ensure that the check is performed in real-time by a real person and not based on a pre-recorded image or video.
  5. Back to AG
    Once the identification has been validated, you will be automatically redirected to the AG website where you will be able to access your data.

You can perform the entire procedure on your smartphone with a built-in camera. The referral link works perfectly on mobile devices.

This method is reserved for users who do not have:

  • or a Belgian identity card/residence card
