Project Manager Risk Modeling

Body

Why choose AG

A workplace where you can take initiative. Where everyone encourages you to show what you are capable of. And where you and your colleagues make a difference today for a brighter tomorrow. Are you a go-getter with a resolutely customer-centric outlook?  See you soon at AG!

This is the job you've been waiting for!

The Risk Modelling Techniques team in the Central Risk Office is responsible for challenging and improving the risk management models used at AG. This team is also central to the development of innovative methodologies to better identify business risks and their evolution. These methodologies therefore need to take account of changes relating to AG's overall strategy, its economic environment and regulatory constraints.

The Risk Modelling Techniques team is playing a central role in an international multidisciplinary modelling project for the Ageas Group, involving not only AG but also the Group's other subsidiaries. It is responsible for the development and implementation of certain highly technical modelling, as well as for the overall management of the project at AG level. This involves interacting very closely with AG's various business lines, as well as with different departments such as the Central Financial Office and the Central Investment Office. For this, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Risk Modelling Techniques team.

  • You will work closely with the project manager to ensure optimum project management, using your expertise in managing complex projects.
  • You will continuously monitor the progress of the project at AG level by setting up the necessary infrastructure.
  • You will constantly monitor the situation against the initial plan and you will identify, in a structured way, the causes of any deviation from the established schedule so that you can take new measures to avoid such deviations in the future.
  • You will ensure that the governance processes are adhered to in the specific context of this project.
  • You will clearly and concisely communicate to the various parties involved, both orally and in writing, the results of your monitoring and the action plan put in place following your observations and analyses.
  • You will ensure that you take into account the needs and constraints of the various (internal and external) stakeholders, which can be very different, by identifying the aspects that are most critical to the achievement of the overall project.
  • You will take a measured approach to challenging the various parties involved in relation to the progress of their developments and the difficulties they express.
  • You will summarise the points discussed at the meetings and link them with the overall project framework, particularly in terms of the consequences for the initial planning and workload.
  • You will ensure that the various parties involved scrupulously adhere to the announced schedule.

Does this sound like you?

  • You have experience of managing complex multi-disciplinary projects involving numerous stakeholders with sometimes conflicting needs.
  • You like processes and can easily link the various interconnected aspects of a whole.
  • You communicate expertly (in writing and orally), structuring and summarising a large amount of complex information.
  • You are able to listen to everyone's needs and constraints and integrate them as much as possible into the overall project.
  • You haveexperience in the financial sector (insurance/banking), ideally in risk modelling.
  • Highly rigorous, structured and organised, you deliver quality work with a keen eye for detail. You're also able to adapt quickly, showing flexibility when the situation calls for it.
  • You are committed to your role, with a strong team spirit. But that doesn't stop you from liking to learn and explore new concepts proactively and independently. You clearly communicate your needs.
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and ideally in French and/or Dutch.

Do not let this opportunity pass you by!

  • A rewarding job with the market leader in insurance. We make it our mission to support our customers the best way we can. And to do that, we need you.

  • The opportunity to further develop your talents, with a wide range of training courses to chose from. Ideal for learning all the skills that will help you take your career to the next level.
  • More than just a job, we offer you an entire career. Want to try something new after you've been with us for a while? We'll help you find your way and encourage you to make the most of your talents.
