A digital process, without the paperwork
About two and a half months before their retirement date, your employee will receive an invitation to submit a request for payment of supplementary pension benefits.
The process has been simplified on purpose and requires the employee to complete three steps:
- submit the request on the MyAG Employee Benefits home page;
- check and complete their personal details;
- confirm their identity.
In most cases, Sigedis sends us all the necessary information directly (including whether or not your employee was actually "active"), so there are no forms to print out or documents to send by post: everything is done online, in just a few minutes. AG takes care of everything.
Please note: Terms for early retirement – effective from 2027 ⚠️ This measure has yet to be definitively approved and will only apply once it has been published in the Belgian Official Journal. From 2027, the professional career rules taken into account for access to early retirement could change. In practical terms, for your employees whose earliest retirement date is on or after 1 January 2027, only years with at least 156 days of actual or equivalent work would be taken into account, compared with 104 days today. For some of your employees, this change could lead to a postponement of their early retirement date. You should monitor developments in employment legislation and not hesitate to remind your employees to check their personal situation regularly so that they can take measures to mitigate the impact of these possible changes. |
