Investing in sustainability
One of AG's main objectives is to invest in assets that contribute to a more sustainable world. In 2024, AG invested EUR 12.9 billion in projects with a positive impact, with the ambition to increase this to over EUR 15 billion by 2027. These investments include green bonds, renewable energy solutions and projects that create added value for society such as school buildings and low income housing.
Raising awareness and community outreach
In addition to reducing its environmental footprint, AG is also actively involved in raising awareness about sustainability and climate change. In 2024, AG organised several events, including Sustainability Day, and took part in challenges designed to make a positive impact on society and/or the environment. For example, 250 employees donated blood to the Red Cross, and close to 300 scarves and hats were knitted for the homeless. Not to mention the staff members who helped plant a burgeoning five-acre forest outside Brussels in Halle.

An inclusive company culture
With 4,481 staff members, AG is committed to incorporating diversity, equity and inclusion in its day-to-day practices. In 2024, we earned our highest eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) ever, a strong indication of employee satisfaction and engagement at AG. AG continues to advance gender equality and diversity through various initiatives such as a "Great Place to Grow for All" and the "Female Leadership Programme" that provides support for future female executives and team leaders.

Prevention and safety
At AG, we are big believers in prevention. In addition to the basic prevention initiatives included in our insurance products, AG has run campaigns to raise awareness of road safety for cyclists and protection against skin cancer. Bicycle lights were handed out and sunscreen dispensers were set up in public places.

Reducing the carbon footprint
AG has doubled down on climate action and aims to cut CO2 emissions from its own operations by 40% by 2030 compared to 2023. Following the complete renovation of its office buildings as part of the Reinvent Workplace project, AG expects to reduce its energy consumption by almost 60% by 2026 versus 2022. AG has installed 162 e-vehicle charging stations in its company carparks and uses electricity generated by 883 solar panels.
A program for sustainable return to work at EB & HC
In Belgium, one in three cases of long-term work incapacity is related to psychological issues such as burnout. To address this, AG EB & HC offers the Return to Work programme, which supports employees in resuming their work up to three times faster through multidisciplinary guidance. Since 2017, over 10,000 journeys have been initiated, with a success rate of nearly 70%. In 2025, the programme was expanded to include the self-employed, with a new offering focused on physical conditions: Reboost.
The future, in the words of our employees
