Definition and content
A "Classical Life" premium statement contains the premiums for the group insurance plan, per type of coverage: supplementary pension, death, orphan's pension and/or death by accident. Note: premium statements are not payment documents.
There are different types of statements:
Detailed Statement:
- This lists the premiums per insured person.
- It always shows all insured persons.
Statement "with transfer":
- At the top of the statement, you will find the total premiums for all insured persons combined.
- In the middle of the statement, only the insured persons for whom there has been a premium change or correction are shown. Insured persons for whom nothing has changed between the most recent and the previous due date are not listed.
What kind of information can I find on a premium statement?
A premium statement is divided into three parts:
- General information
- Premiums per person, broken down by employer and employee contributions
- Total premiums and taxes
Use

- to look up employer contributions for your staff members
- to look up your employees' individual premiums (to withhold them from their salary)
